Collectors Meeting
About us
We are a passionate group of Scout collectors from Slovenia, united under the name "Klub Hrčki" (Hamsters Club). Our club connects both serious and amateur collectors, as well as those who simply have an interest in collecting.
Our club consists of 10 members from different Scout groups, each with their own unique collecting focus. Some of us collect a wide range of Scout memorabilia, such as badges, scarves, pins, flags, old photographs, and even Scout-themed comics, while others focus on specific items like uniforms, mugs, books, or event patches.
The name "Hamsters" (or "Hrčki" in Slovenian) comes from a playful reference to the way we, as collectors, often accumulate a wide variety of items over time. In Slovenian, when someone collects or hoards a lot of things, they might be jokingly called a "hrček" (hamster), as hamsters are known for collecting food and storing it in their cheeks.
So, we proudly embrace the name "Hamsters" as it symbolizes our passion for collecting, our curiosity, and the fact that we are always looking for new treasures to add to our collections—no matter how big or small! 🐹
